Take 2.0 to his first theme park!

The rides, the scenery and best of all... the rollercoasters! I remember how fun it was to ride them when I was little! My first rollercoaster was the Cyclone at Adventureland... that, as a child was terrifying, exhilarating and above all... FUN! I was hooked! That is something special to me that I can't wait to share with my son!

Yeah... I know its a long ways away, but I still can't wait!

Take Nate to Grandpa Ward's Cabin

My Grandpa Ward's Cabin is probably the most special place in my memories, my heart, and in this world! My family would go there every summer and spend time with my Grandma and Grandpa Ward, swim in the lake, go hiking, get muddy and just be a boy! There were so many adventures to be had up there, and then Mom and Grandma Ward would call us boys and my cousins, the Samples, to the deck to have lunch, usually bologna and cheese sandwiches with koolaid! Then we'd go back into the lake and swim again... We'd also get to see my Grandma's mom and dad, Grandma Harriet and Grandpa Harold and various other family members from up in that area... So many memories to share and make with 2.0!

But I know that's a way off... But I can't wait...

Teach Nate To Draw...

Drawing and scketching is one of my favorite pastimes and i remember how much I loved watching others draw and wishing I cou6ld too! I'm not the best by far, but i 'm not bad either and if I can pass that along to him, especially before I go completly blind, that would fill my heart with joy! Not to mention, it would be something special we could share for at least a little while...

But I know that's a way off... But I can't wait...

Give Nate His First Root Beer

I remember my first root beer. It was A&W... It was also on my first camping trip with my dad in his parents backyard. Grandma Ward called us in the house to have some root beer. I'd never had anything that good! I'm looking forward to passing that on to Nate 2.0!

But I know that's a long way off... But I can't wait!

Take Nate Camping For The First Time

I remember my first camping tripx with my dad when I was about three years old. We pitched camp in dad's parents back yard out in the country... We stayed up late, Grandma Ward invited us in for cold root beer (my first) and later dad gave me my first stick of Lowre's Beef Jerky! The best meet I had ever tasted to that point! I remember hearing the cyotees howling and looking up at the stars and dad pointing out the North Star and the dippers and other constilations. Then trying to sleep in that heavy sleeping bag... I hope I can do half as good when its my turn to point out those constilations to Nate 2.0!

But I know that's a long way off... But I can't wait...

Teach Nate to Cook Eggs Over Easy

My dad taught me to cook starting with scrambled eggs in a pan. When I was a little older, he taught me the art of cooking eggs over easy... not so easy!  I would break every yolk when I tried to flip them but dad was a patient teacher and would show me how the next morning and then let me try again... The first time I did flipped an egg without breaking the yolk, we were so excited! That was my introduction to one of my favorite hobbies, and I hope I can pass that along to my son... all starting with eggs over easy.

But I know that's a long way off... But I can't wait...
